This department seeks to fulfill the need and demands of consumers for vetting food and other products for being halal. The aim is to develop a system whereby Binoria can work with registered government institutions and authorities to issue halal certifications for all consumer products. With the increase in imports of all kinds of food and other products, the need for such vetting and halal certification has been greatly felt and Binoria seeks to fulfill this demand through cooperation with the government and other institutions.
With the increase in trade, people have regularly had recourse to JBA to seek guidance concerning commercial transactions. Even with commonplace business transactions, people are increasingly turning to madrasahs for rulings as per fiqh. The specialization course in Islamic commercial law at Binoria seeks to address this need, giving guidance on transactions that can be rectified and presenting alternate Shariah-compliant modes in other cases. The aim is to produce specialists in commercial law who can give rulings on commercial matters and also increase awareness concerning principles of Islamic law among the public through seminars and dialogues with other private and government entities.
Keeping the above in view, the al-Iman Shariah Consultancy was established which works under the supervision of both muftis and experts from the business community. Research is conducted and rulings are provided for newer business problems. The consultancy caters to HR, marketing, risk management, takaful, mudaraba, mutual funds and problems arising in different trade categories. The consultancy keeps in close contact with the business community to better understand modern commercial issues.
A special one-year-long course was established in 2021 for women graduates who complete the aalima course offered at Binoria. The course seeks to fulfill the needs of women who may feel hesitant discussing personal fiqh issues with male muftis. Entrance to the course is very selective, limited to women graduates who have also had a modern education. The specially designed syllabus includes exercises and training in giving rulings (ifta) as well as additional courses such as the Islamic law of inheritance with a focus on Muslim personal law.

Course instructors are native language speakers and assistance is sought from foreign students for speaking practice. Students taking up a language are given special guidance concerning relevant countries and regions. Acquisition of foreign language skills presents ample opportunities for translating for and representing foreign delegations, and graduates have increased opportunities to be part of foreign projects. The courses also help graduates when they attend international seminars, conferences, and other events, such as being involved in industrial projects which involve foreign personnel.
This is a four-year short certificate course designed for students who have graduated from any institution registered with the Higher Education Commission. The syllabus includes basic Arabic grammar, Arabic literature, fiqh, usul al-fiqh, hadith, usul al-hadith, tafseer, usul al-tafseer, logic, astronomy, inheritance, seerah, history, and other subjects.
